Beneficiaries

Shaneece is going to the Prom.

Shaneece is a child we helped at age 3 and is now a teen. She was invited to the East Hartford school prom and said YES! We gave her a gift of a Tiara to wear.

Deavian at Camp

Deavian on her first day of camp thanks to the volunteers and donors supporting Cherish the Children Foundation.

Thiri's painting "Desert Flower"

Thiri attends Northwest Catholic and graduated from Grace Academy as part of our Educational Support Program. Thiri presented us with her painting 'Desert Flower'. She explained how she is like the flower. "The flower was ugly and basically dead until it received rain which helped it to grow and flourish." She is extremely grateful to CTCF for being the "rain" to help her thrive with an education. Also, we noted the deep roots, symbolic of her being very grounded as she blossoms into the stellar young woman that she is.

Covenant Preparatory Middle School

CTCF is honored to collaborate with Covenant Preparatory Middle School , Hartford Inner-City Scholarship Fund, Matthew 25 Scholarship Fund and Grace Academy Middle School.

Through your support of Cherish the Children Foundation we are able to help these children reach their greatest potential by learning and excelling in a safer environment.

Loving Family of Six

We are pleased to have met a loving family of six, with four girls under the age of 6, who fell upon hard times following a car accident and the premature birth of their baby Gianna. Born 15 weeks premature and weighing 1 pound 10 ounces, with a multitude of health issues, she spent 5 months hospitalized with both parents missing work for recovery and care.

Dad is back to work but needless to say the family has been financially wiped out due to all the extra medical bills, unexpected expenses with no end in site. This is WHY our volunteers and supporters name CTCF as their charity of choice so that WE can step in and help this family to get over the hump. We were able to get them caught up on mortgage payments and keep the roof over their heads. Mom & Dad are resilient and pledge to pay it forward.
